The object of Roulette is to bet on the number which you believe that the ball will eventually land on. European
roulette is one of the most popular versions the game, offered in many on-line casinos including BeTheDealer.
The wheel is divided into 37 segments. These are numbered 1-36, with a single zero.
The segments are colored red and black alternately, starting with the red as number one. The zero segment takes the
colour of green.
A ball is flicked in a clockwise direction around the outer rim of the Roulette wheel, which spins in a
counterclockwise direction.
Numbers that match those on the wheel are arranged on the Roulette table in three columns of 12 numbers. Your stake
is placed on the table and is considered either an outside bet or an inside bet.
You, the player, place a bet on a number, color, odds or a group of numbers on the Roulette table. The wheel is
spun, and winnings are determined by the slot on the wheel where the ball makes a final stop. The amount of the
payout depends on how the bet was placed.
